he explains that by squinting, he can more easily see the shapes of a face and features.
Paul grew up in Rushville, Indiana, and got a B.A. in fine arts from
Indiana University in 1987. Since then he's drawn many 1000s of
caricatures in most states and several countries abroad. In 2000 he
joined the National Caricaturist Network, now known as the
International Society of Caricature Artists. Paul won top honors at
it's annual convention including the prestigious Golden Nosey Award
for oustanding live caricature. He lives in Fishers, Indiana w/ his
wife, DeMaris, who is also an artist and their 3 kids. He owns and
operates a caricature concession on the Casino Boardwalk of Hampton
Beach, New Hampshire and can be found there most days between Memorial
Day and Labor Day. The rest of the year he works out of his home
studio and provides live caricature entertainment in the greater
Indianapolis area.
